for the Returned Soldiers’ Association’s, concert in the Opera House on -Monday next are well in committee have been working hard in their endeavours to make the function a succc.sq, and some good talent has been engaged. Mr Culford Bell, of Wellington, the eminent exponent of elocution, has been engaged to render three items, and a treat is in ntore for those who intend to hear him. Masterton’s popular comedian, Mr Harry Hall, who has returned to the concert platform especially for this occasion, will n& doubt delight the audience with his character sketches. Mr and Mrs B. Williams will present, for the first time to a Masterton audience, theirs election of real Yankee ragtime." Tickles are selling freely. Seats may be reserved at Mr J. Henderson’s, where the box plan is on view.
