CLEARING SALE. Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report haying held a clearing sale of live stock- on account of Mr F. C, Bunny, “ Waikaramu ’’' Carterton. The' sheep, whxeh came forward in good condition, met. with keen competition, but the cattle, with the exception of dairy heifers, met. a poor sale. The following are the principal prices .realised: —386 S and S-tooth ewes in lamb to B.F. rams 80s 2d 331 2 and 4-tooth ewes in lamb to Romney rams 30s 4d, 376 2-tootli wethers 30s sd, b.f. 2-tooths 27s ooutfi—down .ewes 27s 6d, cull wethers 20s 6<l, cull ewes 9s 6d, cull w.f. lambs 14s, b.f. lambs 11s; 24-year springing dairy heifers £l2 2s 6d, empty heifers £5 Is, £6, to £7; 24-year steers £7 11s;, 14-year steers £2 10s, calves 30s.
