PROFITEERING CHARGE.
AN APPEAL LODGED. In (be Supreme Court on Saturday notice of appeal was filed by Mr A. 11. Salek against the decision by Mr E. Page, S.M., in the action recently taken by the Board of Trade against Bertie Smith, grocer, Courtenay Place and Berhampore, on an information alleging that he had sold Mellin’s Food at an unreasonable price. Smith was convicted and fined £IOO and costs. The appeal is based on points of law- and fact.
