EQUALITY OF THE SEXES. Press Association —Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Imperial News Service.) LONDON, Thursday. Mr A. Randall moved in the House of Commons in favour of legislation embodying a majority report of the Divorce Commission recommending five new grounds for divorce namely, desertion, persistent cruelty, drunkenness, incurable insanity, and life imprisonment. An amendment by Mr R. McNeill favouring sexual in divorce and opposing changes in the law which would have the effect of impairing the permanence of the marriage tie was carried by 134 votes to 91.
