It was resolved that the subscription be 7s 6d for seniors, 5s for juniors, and 2 S 6d for third-class p ayers. The committee were instructed to meet the committee of the Master ton Club to arrange a suitable playing oround. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the Y.M.C.A. for the use of the gymnasium during last season. . It was decided to enter senior, junior and third-class teams in the Wairarapa Union ’s competitions. The season will commence on Saturday next, when a practice match will be held under the supervision of Mr T. Flaws, the club coach. Referring to the district scheme, Mr Southgate said that probably there would be a big fight over it at the Union meeting, as Gladstone woulctbe sure to oppose it. Mr Southgate stated that at least two or three of those who had last year played for Gladstone the Donalds, for instance —intended to play this season with the Featherston Club —or, rather, in the proposed Eib-eral-Pukio senior team.
