Mr Ramsay Macdonald denies tho statement an" Italian Socialist has circulated to the effect that M. Longuct and himself, on behalf of he Fran.-o-British Socialists, havo accepted a proposal for a twenty-four hours- , strike in protest against the Versailles peace torms. Mr Mac Donald adds that ho condemned tho Italians' tendency to Bolshevism, and recommended them to .join tho world Socialist movement represented by the Second International.
