SALE AT PALMERSTON
(By Telegraph—Fress Association.) J'ALMKh'STOX X.. Wednesday. An auction sale of the Hannah Estate was conducted by Afessrs Abraham and Williams to-day. Over one thousand farmers wore present, and there was spirited bidding. Every section was sold, and hi.U'h prices were realised, tot ailing £159,032. The Kaukawa Estate, of 7u! acres averaged V.&fiS 16s, the highest j>rice beiuu' c,vj] _ The Tarania. Kstate, of 7>>S .•<cres, ;:\era-ed I" II .IHs, the highest, pri ••<■ being £13 ss. The CliiYside .Estate, of 10M acres, £-.19 18s, tlie highest [.rice being I'fiO. The Siberia Estate, of 227s jyro.s. averaged £24 Gs <>'.!, tin* Jiighest price being £70. The purchasers were mainly from other districts.
