"Keen Sport."— Thanks very much. In reply to your questions: (1) The best Club back team Wairarapa has seen during tho past 20 years was that of tho Masterton Club of 1905, viz., the late Clarrie Williams, Edgar Wrigley, doe O'Loa.ry, A.lick Miller, the late Pat O'Leary and Davy Logan; (2) E. W. Payton, Davy Logan, Jack Adams, Fred Ball and Yiv Flaws 1 consider the best half-backs Masterton has produced during the period you mention; (3) Yes, Lou Williams captained Wairarapa in their Southern, tour some 10 years ago. He was a solid back as well as a capable general; (4) Bob Todd; (5) "Brieky" ..Marsh scored live tries in the match against Manawatu at Carterton; ((>) You are confusing two pi avers of the same name. The Billy Fulton I. mentioned played with the Rod Star seniors. He came from Dunedin, where he played with the Xiitgari-Kichniond Club. He was a Wairarapa senior rep., and after leaving Masterton played up Ha who's Bay way.
The action of the V.M .C.A . in placing their gymnasium free of charge at the disposal'of the K'ed Star Football Club for practice on two or three nights during the week is a \vvy generous one, and demonstrates that the Association is anxious to foster healthy sport iv the town .
