COUNTER PROPOSALS.
FOR GERMANY'S BENEFIT.

The Sun's Berlin correspondent sta-' tes t^ a t Germany is submitting counter proposals to the Allies' peace terms, and will propose the formation of su world shipping pool, in which Germany will have an interest. .ft will be suggested that the Allies- • and the United States be given 50 per cent of the stock in all German shipping: companies, Germany retaining tho remaining fifty per cent. It will be proposed to pool all ocean cables and henceforth that the cables be under the control of the League of !N tit ions:.
