PROFESSOR NICHOLLS
FRIDAY NIGHT'S ADDRESS
Professor Nicholls, who arrived from tho United States a few days ago, has been lecturing in tho North, relating the stor yof America's prohibition tight and victory. It is reported that Professor Nicholls can move his audiences, and that he does not study effect or give timo for applause, but goes on with his story. As he describes victory aftor victory, the people, it 13 stated, enthuse, but* he does not wait for any expression from his audience. He is described as "a perfect tornado," and one of the greatest American authorities on prohibition. Many and sundry reports have reached New Zealand about America, and her attitude towards the open bars, and all who desire to know the facts are advised by advertisement in this issue to hear Professor Nicholls.
