BERNE, Sunday
England, France, Holland, Italy and Germany will bo represented at the Conference of Socialists on Monday, with eighteen to twenty other coun tries. Delegates include Branting, Albert, Thomas, Huysmans, Ramsay Macdonald and Arthur Henderson. The conference hopes to formulate a charter of labour legislation for incorporation in the treaty of peace, and to formulate a democratic constitution for the League of Nations and also to arrange » point of action for the working classes in the whole world againsc future Imperialistic tendencies.
American, Belgian, Canadian aad French trade union representatives met at Paris and discussed the wisdom of meeting the Germans. The Americans and Belgians finally decided not to go to Berne,
