THE COSY THEATRE.

The new programme announced for the Cosy Theatre to-night is another most exceptional one, including no less than three features. "American Aristocracy ,, is a five-reel Triangle film, and it is a sufficient description of it to say that Douglas Fairbanks is tho leading figure, and that he has never done better work. Ho takes the part of Cassius Leo, a wealthy young man who finds the monotony of life rather boring. But ono day an unknown and pretty girl lea.ps from a motor car and kisses him. This is because she has sworn to kiss the first man who fills her ideal of what a man should look like. She is Miss Hicks, the character being portrayed by Jewel Carmen. After kissing Lee she motors off. lie swears to find her, succeeds in doing so, but in the search stumbles on a gun-running plot in which Mexicans are concerned. The chief plotter is a Percy Horton, who is ostensibly a malted milk manufacturer, and who desires to marry Miss Ward. Fairbanks, in tracking down the plotters, goes through a hurricane of adventures, wearing his usual grin and working off some startling athletic stunts. The picture- is a first-class Fairbanks. The end of tho fascinating serial story, "The Xegloctcd Wife," is also shown, when a most interesting chapter, full of surprises, completes tho story. Quite another stirring episode of "Tho Great Secret," starring th e popular favourites, Francis Bushman and Bcverley Bayne, is also included in tho evening's entertainment, which is a big one, and all are asked to be early.
