CLEARING SALES.
The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., Stock Department, report having held a clearing sale on Tuesday on behalf of Major H. F. Skey, "The Pines," Clareville. The fifty-eight cows came forward in nice condition, and met with good competition. Prices were: —August calvers, £12 10s, £13, £13 15s, £15," £16, £16 17s 6d to £18; September and October calvers, £10, £11 10s, £12 15s to £14; empty cows, £6, £6 15s to £8 crossbred bulls, £5 to £6 2s 6d. A large assortment of sundries sold readily.
