Mr Hoover, American Food Controller, speaking at tho Mansion House, said that owing to. the American efforts
there was no need to restrict shipments of foodstuffs to Europe in the forthcoming year. The period of anxiety in. connection with the Allies' essential foodstuffs had. passed.
