\ Australian andN.Z. Cable Associatiom.) LONDON, Tuesday. British official: The weather improved on the 22nd, and several long-distance reconnaissances were made. Twenty-three tons of bombs were dropped on the railway stations at Cambrai, Bray and Lille, on ammunition dumps near Arnientieres and Bapaume, and on billets along the whole front. Twenty-three hostile machines were brought down, and three driven down uncontrollable. Ten British aeroplanes are missing. Rain prevented night-Hying. ALLIED ACTIVITY. French official: Our aviators were active on July 22nd. The Franco-British pilots felled land disabled 37 enemy machines. ; There were numerous air fights. In bombing operations 33$ tons of. bombs were dropped during the-daytinie ,i on enemy aerodromes aiid stations.! Thirteen hundred kilogrammes were dropped during thenight. .A raid on the caused a conflagration .and explosions.
