THE COPPER TRAIL.
JUMBLE SALE AT WELLINGTON,
What is claimed will be the biggest jumble sale that Wellington has ever witnessed will be held in the Town Hall on August 2nd and 3rd. It is being organised by Mrs E. C. Adams and Mrs Arthur Myers. All are cordially invited to ""do their bit" in the copper trail battlo by contributing goods for disposal at the sale. Anything and everything will,be gladly accepted, and converted 1 into coppers for the trail —hats, coats, boots, furniture, clocks) watches, china, rugs, books, music, motor cars — all are alike to the organisers of the jumble sale. The smallest contribution will be equally acceptable with the largest. As the northern city has gained a considerable lead over Wellington, Mrs Arthur Myers and Mis Adams are determined that the jumble sale shall assist materially in reversing this position of affairs. The Wairarapa Sub-Centre of the British, Rod Cross Society will be pleased to receive goods of any kind —clothing, crockery, furniture, produce, flowers, etc.—for forwarding to th e jumble sale in Wellington.
