GIBRALTAR TUNNEL

The Orleans Railway Company has applied for a concession to construct a tunnel under the Straits of Gibraltar, ia furtherance of a scheme to run a railway from Paris to Dakar. Tho execution of this scheme would ultimately establish * railway communication between London and Capetown, when' the Channel tuunol is built.
