CALEDONIAN CONCERT.
A MAGNIFICENT SUCCESS.
The concert given by tho Wainirapa, Caledonian Society in the Opera House last night was a. triumph for all concerned. It was generally agreed to have been the beat concert the society haw over placed before the public. The building was packed, and the various artists received a warm welcome. The honours ;>f the evening "went to Air Farqnhar Young and Miss Mildred Wrightson (Mrs Young). Their singing, etc., was a re\ elation to most of those present. They charmed 'he audience from the very lirst introduction, and the richness and beauty of (heir voices produced ;:mong the audience a high state of enthusiasm. Time, after Time both artists were t-ncored 10 the echo; ii was a great triumph for Mr arid Mrs Voting. No two artists have over received such a reception on a concert platform in Masterton before, and the society deserve to be heartily congratulated upon having engaged these talented singers. Mr Marry Hall rind several otri. v performers also contributed to the -.;:;re.->*< of the concert.
