SWEDISH DECEIT.
VERY PENITENT NOW.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) COPENIIAGKX, Tuesday.
An official Swedish, statement has been issued which says: "Messages have, by consent, frequently been transmitted. Messages' between the American neutral nations and Germany and Sweden have been transmitted in cypher. With regard > the Argentine messages mentioned by Mr Lansing, the Government will endeavour to ascertain their contents, and will demand an explanation from Germany. Jf there, has been v misuse of the privileges, the Government will prevent a repetition, and if Britain and America desire it cessation of the privileges Sweden will
accede. "
