DUTCH STEAMERS HELD UP-

The British held up several Dutch steamers and compelled them to discharge their aniline cargoes.

One cargo which was stopped at Durban consisted of 1400 cases consigned to the Dutch East Indies. It was allowed to proceed on coudition that it was j laced at the British Consul's disposal. It is understood that the seizures are. the result of previous consignments not being distributed iv accordance with the Anglo-Dutch agreement.
