LONDOX, Wednesday-.-At to-day's wool sales thero was good competition for all merinos mid. iino crossbredts, for which late ratey were fully maintained. Low and medium crossbreds were unchanged. Thsi following prices were realised for llece© portions of the New Zealand clips named:— '' Ilomewood," top prico 19<i per IK, average ISJd; ''Westho," 18d and .17 7-Sd; "Kapntone," 34Ad and 33d.

Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., "have received the following cable , , advice from. their London agents: —''".Merinos, 7* to> 1(1 per cent dearer; tine crossbred, 5 per cent dearer; medium, and coarse crossbred, unchanged."
Halgety ami. Co., Ltd., have xoceivedL tho following cablegram from. London., dated Alay .'ilst: —"Wool sales- continue very rirm. Good combing merinos and merino lambs are 10 per cent, and!, crossbred lambs par to 5 per cent dearer than closing rates of last sales.- , '
