LONDON, Thursday.

In the House of oCmmons Mr Dillon appealed for the magnanimous treatment of the Irish prisoners.

Mr Asquith said that tho Government's policy was to use leniency and clemency consistent with tho vindication of the law and the prevention of a recurrence of the outbreak. About SOO persons had already been discharged. Prisoners were given power to appeal to an Advisory Committee, whereto the Government Avas adding two Irishmen.
