THE DARDANELLES.

APPEAL TO PUBLISH

PAPERS.

(Received Friday

at 12..H0 p.m.)

LOMDON, Thursday

In the House of Commons, Sir 11 . Dalziell appealed to the Government to publish the Dardanelles papers - .

Major Winston Churchill supported the appeal. He did not see why the papers should not be presented to the House, as tho operations were closed. So far as he, himself was concerned ho would say, publish everything.

Mr Bonar-Law admitted that the demand was justified. The Government intended to issue a complete publication subject to two limitations. Some documents were of tho most confidential character. Others might refer to current operations. Otherwise, if tho story wore told, the whole story should be told.
