FATHER'S SAD DISCOVERY.
A LITTLE SON SMOTHEBED.

DUNEDIN, Wednesday
Lan McGregor, four years of age, fell into a wool press at the Ellis flock mill at Kaikoura. The child was found at 6 o'clock, smothered. Ho had "been playing about near where his father worked, and Was found by the latter, head downwards in the press. The father tried to restore animation, but without result.
