At the wool sales there was a spirited market for all classes. The following were the prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: — Katandra, top price 23-id, average price 23.] d; Orion Downs, top lfid, average Wld; Wagga, top average 12:Jd: ..Marchison, ton lUd, average lid; Pa.rorangi, top Kid, average .152<1; Whakapoui, top Kid, average Weptho, toi' I'hl, a.verage 14 7-Bd.
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received advice from their London agents that the following are the prices averaged for the ilecce wool of the undermentioned clips at the sales now current: "8.8., 7 V Featherston, Is 2 7-Sd; "D.M.G.," Wanganui, Is 3d; "Te Hoe,'- ■ Alfredton, Is 3Jd; "F.A.J.," Martinborough, Is 2d; " Elderslie," Oamaru. Is 2d; "F.G. over N.," slipe, Nelson, Is 6 7-Bd.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received tho following cablegram from their London house:-—London wool sales closed. Market strong. Position unchanged.
