j The Wellington trade unions are well ! represented among tho New Zealand troops at the front. At least sixty members of the Wharf Labourers' Union have gone away, and the Shearers' Union has 150 of its members in the ! force. A great number of the Maori contingent in camp at Avondale, Auckland, belong to this union, and, in adds tion, scores of members have gone to enlist there.
