AN APPEAL UPHELD.
' DUNEDIN, Thursday.
At a meeting of the Dunedin District Committee to-night, an appeal by W. Robertson against the decision of theSouthland Racing Club disqualifying his horse Brooksdalo for tho Avenal Welter, and fining him £20 for not attending a meeting of tho stewards when called on to do so, was considered. After evidence had been heard the appeal was upheld.
