A BIG WAR VOTE.
OTTAWA, Friday
Tho Duke of Connaught, GovernorGeneral, opened the Dominion Parliament. In his speech he pointed out that tho war was progressing favourably, and Canada's financial position was sound.
The Right Hon. R. Borden, Prime Minister, asked Parliament for a vote of £20,000,000 to meet the war expenditure.
