BRILLIANT BAYONET CHARGES.
RUSSIANS MAKE HEADWAY
GERMANS REPULSED WITH HEAVY LOSSES
(Received Saturday, at 8.45 a.m.) . PETROGRAD, Friday. A communique states: The Russians made a brilliant bayonet charge at Borjimoff, and captured two Tines of trenches. The Russians are progressing in the Carpathians. We captured 2000 prisoners and ten mitrailleuses near Uszen. We withdrew from the Foukholka and Beskid passes to previously prepared positions owing to the enemy's superior numbers. Attempts on the part of the enemy to advance in the Wyszkoff pass was repelled with heavy losses.
