MONTHLY MEETING.

The Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club wrote asking for a rebate in thesum of £10 charged for the use of the ["ark on the occasion of the recent carnival. A letter was received from the Wairarapa Automobile Association in regard to the upkeep of the Kimutaka road, asking the council to be represented at a conference of local bodies which it is proposed to hold for the purpose of asking the (iovernment to take over the road.
