LONDON, Tuesday.-
Lord Murray gave evidence before the Marconi Inquiry Committee that he instructed Femrer to invest a certain amount of the party funds in Home securities, leaving Fenner to select tho stock. All the purchases were made as investments. He did not possess information on political matters which whs not open to the general public through the press. Although the coal strike was on he had no information from Ministers about it. Ho saw no impropriety in investing in railway stocks. Fenner changed the stocks from one railway to another in order to secure a better dividend.
