THE WHARF TROUBLE.

(Received Tuesday, at 9.20 a.m.) ' SYDNEY, Tuesday. The action of the wharf men in not resuming after tea was against the advice of the secretary of the Union, wh» advocated working under the old agreement until the Union can officially deal with the situation. In the meantime the shipping companies are making the best of the position, and are employing as many men as possible fluring the regular daytime. There is a prospect that if the trouble is not settled the New South Wales coal trade with Chili, the chief market for Australian coal, will bo endangered.
