HUSBAND'S STATEMENT.

Henry Feme Hopwood, called at tha police station at Bowen Hills and stated that his wife had been trying to poison him, and he had killed her in a timberyard. The police, .investigated , and found tho body of Bridget Hopgood, .with two wounds in her left forehead.
