PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham aud Williams, Ltd., report:—At Pahiatua on Tuesday, wo offered a fair yarding of sheep and a large yarding of cattle. The sheep all sold well and a good clearanco was effected iv tho cattle. Fat and forward ewes 13s Gd, 2-tooth ewes 13s Gd to Lis 9d, shorn lambs Gs Id, 8s to 10s (affording to quality). Shorthorn cows and calves £5 12s Gd, empty forward cows £3 17s 6d to £4 Ss, store heifers £3 Gs to £3 14s, fat heifers £5 lis, springing heifers £6 17s Gd, 21-year steers £5, weaners 20s to 30s, bulls £3 17s Gd to £4.
