The Bush Boxing Association held another successful tournament last night. Mr J. Watchorn (Palmerston North) was referee. There were; no knock-outs. Results:—Oxley (Pahiatua) 6st beat McDonald (Pahiatua) sst 111b; B. Kelly (Pahiatua) lOst 71b beat McFarlano (Woodville) lOst 71b; Quinn (Pahiatua) 9st 31b beat Early (Pahiatua) 9st 121b; McGrath (Pahiatua) lOst 101b and Frost (Dannevirke) list 51b fought a draw; Brown (Palmerston North) Bst 131b beat Ellis (Pahiatua) 9st 101b; J. Kelly (Pahiatua) 9st 61b and O. Olsen (Masterton) lOst, a draw; Oxley (Pahiatua) 9st 61b beat,Ellis (Pahiatua) lOst 81b; Mexted (Masterton) lOst 41b beat, Scorrar (Mauriceville) lOst 41b.
0. Olsen was awarded the trophy for the most scientific boxer.
