BOOKMAKERS' SIGNALS.
NOT TO BE ALLOWED AT HURST PARK. (Received Wednesday, at 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. The management of tho Hurst Park racecourse has decided not to allow the signalling of current prices from Tattersall's to the minor rings. Hitherto the outside bookmakers sent their representatives to take note of heavy bets, and these would signal the information by waving their arms and similar naval semaphores. The public frequently complained that the signallers struck them, and running about the crowded ring caused grave inconvenience. Tho outside bookmakers have resolved to boycott Hurst Park.
