WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALES.

W. and G. Turnbull, Levin's, Dalgety's, Abraham and \ViJliains, Wairarapa Farmers , Co-op. Asku., Lt.an and Mercantile, and Murray, Koberts & Co. held their usual fortnightly sales at Wellington on Friday. Prices were as follows: —

Wool. —Coarse and crossbred BJd to 9id; inferior and dingy, 74d to Bzd; pieces, 4;d to GAd; locks, 4d to 4£d; lambs, 7«d to 9jd; crutchings, 6d to 7ijd.

ISkins. —Halfbreds and fine crossbreds S|d to 9d; medium and coarse to quarter to half-wools, Gd to 7|d; dead skins, 5Jd to 7d; lamb skins Gd to B|d; dry pelts 4£d to Gd; green skins, 6s to 9s Id.

Hides. —Ox hides, heavy Sid to 8 7-Bd, medium &}d to Bid, light 8d to 8 3-8<:l; cow, 7-Jd to c it and slippy, Gd to 7£d; stag and bull, s£d to 6Jdj yearlings, 7d to B£d; calf, best lid to 12 l-Bd, medium 9id to 10d, cut and slippy (3d to 9 Adj horse hides, 9s to 13s 6d.

Tallow. —Firm. Parcels in shipping order £28 15s; tins £20 to Z : :5 ids; rough fat, £20.

Horsehair, Is to Is 8d per lb; horns, 2s to 24s 6d per 100; tails, Is 3d to Is 8(1 per dozen; opossum skins, 2s Id to 5s Id.
