MR GAYNOR'S FUNERAL.
A LARGE GATHERING.
Preis Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Boccived Tuesday, at 12.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Monday. One hundred thousand citizens gathered in heavy rain at the funeral of tho lato Mr Gaynor, Governor of New York.
The pall-bearers included Mr W. Taft. The Lord Mayor of Liverpool was personally represented. The body was removed from the City Hall to Trinity Church, where a service was held, and the interment afterwards took place in Brooklyn cemetery. The Stock Exchange and other public bodies closed their promises.
