ON THE WARPATH.
LLOYD-GEORGE AND THE CECILS.
A SENSATIONAL PHASE.
Prejs Association—Electric Telem aph—Copyrinht. LONDON, Monday.
Tho wrangle between Mr LloydGeorge and the Cecil family over the former's allegation that certain members of the latter had been "peculiarly offensive in negotiating hugo contracts with the Unionist Government when in oflice" has entered a sensational phase. Mr Lloyd-George said that he could furnish instances, and in reply to a challenge by the Marquis of Salisbury to cite these instances, he pointed out that tho sole responsibility for choir publication would rest with his Lordship . Mr Lloyd-Georgo now accuses, firsrly, the late Lord Salisbury, of endeavouring, through his agents, to sciuro advantages in connection with board works and tho purchase of property for improvements between Charing Cross and Tottenham Court Road. He declares, secondly, that another member of the Cecil family, while holding high office, had a "nutter" in Whittaker Wright's fraudulent concorn . Thirdly, he asserts that a relative of Lord Salisbury, in the Salisbury Administration, was a director and shareholder of an important company when the Government was negotiating and putting through a huge contract with that company.
