A LABOURER'S DEATH.

WELLINGTON, Monday
William John Mallett, labourer, aged 38, who was arrested in the city on Saturday for drunkenness, died in the hospital to-day. He had been suffering from haemorrhage of the brain caused by alcoholic excess, and was also affected by heart trouble.
