GYMNASTIC DISPLAY-
The annual V.M.C.A. Gymnasium Display has been fixed for Friday, October 3rd. Those who witnessed the last annual display will require no reminder of the treat iv store for patrone of the coming event. During the last five years, ever since Mr B. 0. Jarrett opened up physical work for the local Association, the annual displays have been eagerly looked forward to by the Masterton public. Last year the Town Hall was packed with one of the largest audiences the Hall has ever held. Visiting physical experts-assert-ed that, they had never seen better displays, if equal, in any of the cities of the Dominion. This year gives promise of being equally as good. The various classes are well forward with their work. The ladies' class in particular is to be complimented on the excellent manner in which they have progressed this season. Much new work in massed drill an-d marches will be introduced at the display. Combined will be commenced next Thursday evjßn. ening, 25th inst. The instructors, havd reason to be pleased with the progress the 1913 classes have made. Seats may be booked at McLeod and Young's, Academy Buildings, without extra fee.
