ASSISTING SMALL HOLDERS.
LONDON, Wednesday
Mr Runei man announced in the House of Commons that the leading joint stock banks had agreed to open rural branches to assist the formation of credit societies, and .to assist small holders with financial advice and loans.
The banks will advance the societies money on most favourable terms.
