MUKHTAR'S ILL FORTUNE.
CONSTANTINOPLE, Tuesday,
According to reliable accounts the Turkish right wing was meeting with much success, but the commissariat failed, and bad weather prevented reinforcements from landing at the Turkish base at Midia. Consequently Mukhtar was compelled to sacrifice what advantage he had gained. Throughout the campaign the Turkish artillery officers have been amazed ai the superiority of the Creusot over tho Krupp guns.
