FESTIVAL OF SPECIAL VALUES.
AT HUGO AND SHEARER'S
There is not much of a story to it— except the desire of several importers to get a share of our large business. They were over-stocked, and we showed them that it was to their advantage to sell, even though it cut off part of their profit. Dainty voile frocks, just the thing for summer wear, marked at about half their value at 15/6 and 17/6; white muslin blouses, exceptional value, at 2/11; silk trimmed' blouses, at 7/11; ladies' lustre dust coats, at 9/11; smart ready-to-wear hats, at 4/11; new whipcord suiting, at 9Ad yard; cambrics, at cotton voiles, at Gd; all wool delaines, with borders for trimmings at llAd yard. We wish to place additional emphasis on this fact, many styles in which the quantities are smallest, are from the best selling numbers wo have carried this season, and are all being offered at special prices.*
