MASTERTON-WAIPUKU-RAU.
WHAKATAKI LEAGUE FORMED
At the Farmers Union meeting at Whakataki on Saturday, a "Railway League" comprising Messrs W. Harvey, E. F. Barton, W. Mason, G. H. Innes, R. J. Barton, and C. Beiliss, was formed to collect necessary information and to act in conjunction with interested committees regarding the Masterton-Waipukurau line proposal. The secretary was instructed to notify the Masterton Chamber of Commerce of this decision.
