ANOTHER DEATH.
[By Telearavh — Press Association.) WESTPORT, Tuesday. The fire at Granity was responsible for a second death. James Martin, the licensee (who was burnt while endeavouring to rescue some papers), died at the Westport Hospital this morning. The evidence at. the inquest showed that when Hopkins (the first victim) was put to bsd he was "not quite sober. Most of the inmates fost nearly all their belongings. The insurance on the building, which was owned by Mrs Watson, was £1000 in the State office, and £500 in the Standard. The stock and furniture were insured for £.50 in theCommercial Union, and there was also £.00 in the same office on the private furniture owned by Mrs Martin.
