THE AGREEMENT.
A NEW FULLER CLAUSE,
The terms of the agreement were not read out to the public, but wero dictated to the representatives of the press by the Town Clerk. The document was as under: — Wellington, Feb. sth, IDJ2. As a result of the conference between delegates appointed by tho City Council and the delegates appointed by the Tramways Striko Committee, it has been mutually agreed as hereunder :—- ---1. That the removal of Inspector Fuller to some other position in tho tramway service as originally requested by the Tramway Union
and now desired by the officer himself, be carried out. 2. That it be an instruction to the electrical engineer, on settlement of the dispute, to have Inspector Fuller placed in a position whero he will not havo any dealings with tho members of the Tramway Union. .. That tho Council guuiantee that on tho resumption of work tho nieii involved in this trouble shall not be subject to victimisation, but shall be reinstated iv their employment.
