The strike of Wellington tramway ■t-iiployes is at an end, and the service was resumed this morning. The Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward) offered, his . erajres as mediator yesterday morntwo hours later was .able to announce that terms of peace had been agreed upon. The basis of settlement arranged by representatives of the City Council and the strikers was nuaninuvisly accepted by the Council and by i..c Tramway Union.
