HEAT WAVE.
DESTRUCTIVE BUSH FIRES,
Received Saturday, '.) a.m. ADELAIDE, Saturday. Tho heat wave continues, and one hundred and thirteon degrees have been registered in the city. The confectioners have closed their •shops as it is too hot to work. The bush fires on the niils are the worst for twenty years and have resulted in widespread destruction. A number of residences and many orchards have been destroyed and beauty spots devasted.
