ENTERTAINMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The entertainments in the Foresters' Hail on Saturday were packed to the doors. "Foe to Richelieu," a magnificent coloured historical play in two parts and thirty scenes, makes its first appearance at the Foresters' Hall this evening, and is undoubtedly the gem of the entertainment. The picture, which is historically correct in every detail, lias an unsurpassed cast, comprised of all the most famous French artists of the day, and it is by historical representations such as these that the public is afforded an unique opportunity of following in full the wonderful stories of old-time life. Supporting this is a very fine array of dramas, scenics, comedies and novelty of the highest order. The Vitagrapii give "The Latent Spark" and "The Sacrifice." A racing yarn exciting throughout is seen to advantage in "Jim-Crow." "The Faithful Indian" is a tale of the redskins, and laid midst the wonderful scenery of the West. "The Topical Budget" and "The Australian Gazette" are just as newsy as ever. "Tlie Cork Industry, " "Realm of Rocks," and "Chrysanthemums" form an interesting diversion between times. Two vaudeville turns are included, and those, with clever comedies, make an exceedingly fine series.
